The emerging of epidemic diseases are threating the world of animal producers. Even though strict hygienic practices can be enforced, animals are always exposed to pathogenic bacteria and virus in the air, feed and water. These exposures trigger the immune system causing an increase in energy requirements negatively affecting the animals’ performance and in worst-case scenarios, leads to increased mortality rates. Pathogenic E. coli, Salmonella spp.

Modified bio-active MCT (Medium Chain Triglyceride), the antiviral agent in BTRTM MCT suppresses enveloped virus by exhausting itself and destabilizing its envelope, it also uncouples gram +ve bacteria causing it to stop growing. All these supplements the antibacterial properties of tributyrin and make BTRTM MCT an effective solution to combat broad-spectrum of pathogenic microorganisms in farm.
