Manuka Biotech was founded in 2020 by Dr. Lai Zhouwen and is headquartered in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia. As an innovation-driven company in Biotechnology Malaysia, our core focus is the research, development, and production of fatty acid–derived solutions that enhance animal health and productivity.
The company’s factory in China features state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to producing long-, medium-, and short-chain fatty acids. Pioneering achievements include successfully synthesizing sodium butyrate for the first time in China and becoming the first facility to launch water-soluble microencapsulated fat powder and its advanced MCT Malaysia series for animal nutrition applications.
With over 20 years of experience in the production and application of butyrate salt in Malaysia, we continue to expand our expertise into high-value functional ingredients such as Tributyrin, Omega 3 Supplements Malaysia, and nutritional strategies supporting DHA Enriched Eggs production. Our solutions also play a key role in advancing sustainable Pathogen Control Malaysia approaches through non-antibiotic fatty acid technologies.
Currently, Manuka Biotech is managed by a team of experienced and dedicated professionals, supported by a skilled technical team in China—forming the foundation of our regional leadership and global expansion strategy.
